Welcome!
An Integrated Approach to Massage Therapy, proudly serving the South Hills Communities since 2013!
If you're in the South Hills area and seeking professional Massage Therapy with comprehensive Myofascial Trigger Point Training for pain management, please reach out. My post-graduate Massage Therapy training extended over an additional year at the Institute of Medical Careers. This intensive 1-year program involved studying medical texts, culminating in a board examination and certification by the NAMTPT (National Association of Myofascial Trigger Point Therapists). The depth of knowledge acquired cannot be condensed into a brief one or two-day weekend workshop/CEU. Trigger Point Therapy is not merely a "niche" or specialty for me; it's a foundational tool that enhances my understanding of each client's physiology, enabling me to tailor the best possible outcomes based on their health status, historical intake, and session goals.
Did you know? Massage Therapy is more than a luxury to treat oneself for a special occasion.
Science has demonstrated the mental and physical benefits of massage therapy for both acute and chronic conditions. It complements other health-related treatments, aiding in prevention, rehabilitation, and ongoing maintenance, alongside Mental Health Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Post-Rehabilitative care.
My method employs science from a pain management perspective, integrating psychology, neurology, and immunology, specifically Psychoneuroimmunology (PNI).
As a Licensed Massage Therapist and Board Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist, I am a solopreneur driven by a profound desire to help others progress toward wellness, which is why I chose a career in Massage Therapy.
I've been told that my technique is akin to art.
I believe such compliments wouldn't come if there wasn't something distinctly different about my approach compared to others. During my training in Massage Therapy, numerous clients at the school clinic remarked on the uniqueness of my technique and touch. My instructor expressed, "I wish I could teach others what you have in your hands, but it's not possible. It's a gift!" Massage Therapists vary in their technique, education, touch, and character, and the choice of therapist significantly impacts your well-being. If I'm not the right match for your therapeutic needs, I'm more than willing to assist you in finding an LMT who can support you in achieving your wellness objectives.
